Our goal at James Gray Group is to be the industry leader in global talent solutions for Construction, Engineering, and Infrastructure. We cannot do this, without looking at diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
We asked our team how they currently view our progress towards becoming more diverse and inclusive. This feedback suggested that we are doing well in terms of individual inclusion, but also recognised our need to do better regarding our company approach towards DEI.
To create an inclusive environment where colleagues have the freedom to grow and develop their skills, we are implementing new shared goals regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion:
Build a welcoming place in which uniqueness is respected, supported, and celebrated
Aim to create a workforce reflective of the larger community
Support our employees to work inclusively with one another, and with the people we work with
Encourage the industries we serve to become more diverse and inclusive in their work environments and hiring practices
Prevent discrimination against our colleagues, candidates, and clients, regardless of age, sex, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation, disability, neurodiversity, or any other aspect which makes them unique
This is just the beginning of our journey to strive to become a more inclusive and diverse company. We are proud to currently have a team made up of 50% women, including 2 of our directors. We celebrate different experiences, cultures, and principles across our team.
